Maintaining a safe work environment is important for the well being of our employees as well as our manufacturing success. Spirit’s manufacturing locations in the US are audited by the American Sanitation Institute (ASI), a 3rd party audit firm, on a yearly basis. These audits ensure that good manufacturing processes, proper sanitation and sound administration policies are adhered to throughout the company. Year after year, Spirit receives a certificate of excellence from the ASI in all locations.

All plastic disposable foodservice products manufactured in Spirit’s facilities are made with materials that meet state and federal requirements, such as those set forth by the FDA, and are safe for food contact—a claim not all importers of similar products can make. This includes food safe inks used with custom printed products.

Producing quality products in compliance with safety regulations incurs a slightly higher price tag for US manufacturers and we hope customers like you understand the challenges. After all, buying American IS American.
