After 35 years in the foodservice industry it is still exciting to be associated with Spirit Foodservice Products, Inc. The company is always adding new products and services a broad range of market segments in the foodservice and beverage industries. Recent ownership changes have generated interest in acquisitions to grow the business. It is never dull at Spirit!
Spirit Foodservice Products, Inc. has been an industry leader in the cocktail stirrer and pick category for many years. The company’s founder invented the swizzle stick in 1934. The company is the sole source supplier to the largest restaurant chain in the country and has had that distinction for 38 consecutive years. There is a great sense of pride in the quality of the products and service we provide the industry.

Favorite Spirit Product: The Tri-Prism Pick. This product has become the favored pick used in martinis and high-end cocktails. The Tri-Prism Pick adds a touch of class and elegance over the traditional sword or arrow pick, and illustrates the adaptability and longevity of Spirit’s tradition of “helping our customers serve theirs”.
Perspectives
Working for Spirit Foodservice Products, Inc. has been a rewarding experience. I have enjoyed being a member of the Spirit team in continuing the Company’s tradition of providing quality products to the foodservice and advertising specialty industries. The creativity and history of specialty drink stirrers and picks is quite amazing, going back to 1934. Looking over the history of decorative stirrers and picks produced by Spirit contains a bit of nostalgia, but also shows the value provided to today’s customers.
